Travel Soccer Program 2024/2025

The HHSC Travel Soccer Program consists of Boys and Girls Divisions from U8 (2017) through U15 (2010) (dependent upon participants). Registration includes both the Fall and Spring Seasons. At this time, you are registering to attend a tryout session. Payment will be due at acceptance of team invite.

Try-Outs will be scheduled for weeks of 4/8/2024 and 4//15/2023.

Boys Tryouts - 4/9 & 4/18

Times:

2017-2015 @ 6-7pm

2014-2012 @ 730-830pm

Notes:

• Players are required to attend a tryout session to be eligible for the Travel Program.

• If unable to attend one of the two session, please contact HHSC ([email protected]) prior to the first tryout date.

• There is NO cost to attend tryouts.

• Players must wear shin guards, cleats and bring a ball and water bottle.

• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tryout time to check-in and begin warming up.

2024 Spring Recreation

Spring Recreation Soccer for kids with birth years from 2009-2020.

SPRING 2024 REC SOCCER REGISTRATION

Opens: January 10th, 2024

1. Tots are split up by birth year, co-ed. Saturday morning sessions.

- U4 - 2020 Birth year,

- U5 - 2019 Birth year.

- Tots will have trainers at every session

2. U6 (2018) - coed and will not have trainers for the spring (no practices). Saturday morning games.

3. U7/U8 (2017/2016) ages are typically combined and are coed. This will depend on participation numbers. (no practices) Saturday morning games.

4. Younger Club ages are dependent on participation. Usually U9/U10 are combined (2014/2015) If we have enough players, we will be playing 7v7 in this age group with goalies. Also coed.

5. Older Club ages are dependent on participation Usually U11/U12/U13/U14/U15 (2013/2012/2011/2010/2009). If we have enough players, we will be playing 9v9 or 11v11 in this age group with goalies. . Also coed.

* All age groups are typically co-ed. We will determine if numbers allow for splitting up boys/girls (we likely wont be able to do this in spring bc of lower numbers. will re-evaluate in the fall) *

COST: $100 for all groups. Multi-player per family discounts are applied

EQUIPMENT:

-All players will receive team shirts

-All players will need to wear shin guards and socks (not supplied by HHSC)

-Cleats are not required but are highly encouraged

IMPORTANT DATES:

01/10/2024 - Registration Opens

03/10/2024 - Registration Closes (without late fee)

03/11/2024 - Registration Late Fee Starts ($20)

03/11/2023 - Team Selection begins - request for coaches begins

03/15/2024 - Deadline for requests

03/17/2024 - Team Selection completes - Shirts ordered. (No team changes/requests after this date)

04/05/2024 - Season Begins

05/11/2024 - Season Ends

PROBABLE SCHEDULES:

Season Dates: 4/5 - 5/11 - 6 weeks long (weather permitting)

Practices: there are no weekday practices in the spring, however they can be scheduled if the coaches/teams would like.

Games:

-U4 - 0830-0915 AM - Saturday Mornings

-U5 - 0930-1015 AM - Saturday Mornings

-U6 - 1030-1120AM - Saturday Mornings

-U7/U8 - 1130AM-1220PM - Saturday Mornings

-U9/U10 - TBD Possibly Fri Nights or Saturday Mornings

-U11/U12 - TBD Possibly Fri Nights or Saturday Mornings

-U13/U15/U15 - TBD Possibly Fri Nights or Saturday Mornings

REC COORDINATOR ASST NEEDED:

-Want to get involved?

-We can use some help with the rec coordination. If you're interested, please contact HHSC for the expectations of the rec coordinator.

COACHES NEEDED:

-Are you willing and able to coach???

-You can sign up as a coach during registration.

-Soccer experience is helpful, but not necessary (especially in spring)

-Spring has no practices, only games

COACH ROLES:

-Set up team and roster on Game Changer

-Communicate with HHSC Board for schedule changes

-Communicate with team for schedule changes

-Set up and break down fields (sometimes may be required)

-Ref and run the games, sub players in and out (helps to have an asst. coach)

-Tots coaches work with trainers to help manage team
